Abstract:
The present study evaluates the anti-diabetics and glycemic control of Diabetic patients attending in the Department of General Medicine, it is a Prospective and observational study carried out in Adichunchanagiri Hospital, B G Nagara. A group of metabolic diseases collectively referred to as diabetes mellitus (DM) are characterized by high blood sugar levels brought on by insufficiencies in insulin secretion, action, or both. Diabetes mellitus (DM) is becoming an important public health problem in developing countries, especially in India. Diabetes is currently treated using a variety of anti-diabetic medication classes, such as insulin and oral hypoglycemic agents (OHAs), which work through a variety of mechanisms to lower blood glucose levels in order to maintain ideal glycemic control, because it provides the foundation for enacting modifications to prescription dispensing regulations at the local and national levels, the use research of these drugs is significant in clinical practice.
