Abstract:

Treatmant of chronic kidney failure by permanent dialysis, additionally to high prices for society, has several physical and psychological issues for patients. this study was applied to analyze the foremost vital causes of this failure in dialysis patients of Abadan. Methods: during this cross-sectional study, all fifty nine patients underneath permanent dialysis throughout March half dozen, 2005 to April half dozen, 2006 in Abadan’s dialysis center were evaluated. needed knowledge as well as age , gender, age of 1st dialysis session, causes of chronic kidney failure and dialysis-related variables were collected by listing from patient’s file and interview PRN. Results: cardiovascular disease (40.4%), diabetes (28.1%), infections (12.3%), inherent abnormalities (10.5%) and obstructions (8.8%) were the foremost common causes of chronic kidney failure. Also, 5.3% of cases were causes as well as nephritis (3.5%) and lupus (1.8%). Conclusion: illness} is that the most reason for finish stage excretory organ disease in Abadan and diabetes and infections area unit ensuing.
