Abstract:

During 1829 within the town of Nauplion, Theodoros Konstantinidis was born. He had studied drugs in Athens, Wien, Paris and Berlin, wherever he had supported his academic degree thesis. In 1856 he had came in Greece to figure in "Astyclinici" and "Elpis" Hospitals. He had before long become academician of inventive Anatomy and Epidesmologia, academician of Surgery, electoral as Dean and eventually parson of the Athenian University. Dedicated to his love for the traditional Greek drugs, font of Aretaeus of geographical region, he had modified his name to Theodoros Aretaios. He was the author of a considerable range of medical treatises, member of the "Athenian Medical Society", editor in medical journals of the time, and a pioneering doctor with a worldwide fame, United Nations agency first off performed a medical specialty operation because of cartilaginous structure contagion in trendy Greece. He had been operational all his life people from everywhere Greece. He left a gift for the primary Surgical and medical specialty Clinic of the Athenian University to be designed, bearing his name, "Aretaieion Hospital". In March 1893, he died and every one Greece felt in significant mourning for its helper.
