Superinfection exclusion (SIE) is a mechanism that many viruses utilize to prevent other viruses, or viruses that are closely related to them, from entering or replicating in the cells they occupy. When a host plant infected with a weak strain of a virus or viroid develops immunity against a more severe strain that is closely similar to the first infectant, this phenomenon is known as SIE, also known as cross-protection. It is unclear how cross-protection works in its entirety.

Childhood hypertension (HTN) is a major cause of death and morbidity. pediatric obesity, effective blood pressure measurement, and growing awareness of pediatric hypertension have all contributed to a rise in the diagnosis of childhood hypertension.In this study, the etiology of hypertension, treatment regimens, responsiveness to treatment, and demographic profiles of children with hypertension were evaluated.

Developing a preventive vaccination is hampered most by the sequence variety of HIV-1. Trialists are currently testing Mosaic (Mos) antigens, which are made up of artificially scrambled epitopes from different strains of HIV-1 (NCT03964415). The Mosaico vaccine includes vectors that mediate gene transfer and production of the membrane-anchored Env-variant Mos2S.Env in addition to adenovirus vectors encoding variations of the Mos.Gag-Pol and soluble Mos.Env proteins.

Sowthistle yellow vein virus (SYVV) is an enveloped bacilliform virus that infects sowthistle (Sonchus oleraceus L.) and lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). It is spread persistently by the aphid I-Iyperomyzus lactucae L. Vein banding and vein clearing are indicators of infection in these plants (Duffus, I963; Richardson & Sylvester, I968 ; Peters, I970).

The COVID-19 pandemic has altered the roles and responsibilities of the healthcare system and improved the general quality of health services offered to the community. Initially, the majority of healthcare settings treated emergency cases and COVID-19 patients exclusively, which made it difficult for other symptomatic patients with other acute or chronic illnesses that were not COVID-19 to receive standard care [1].
