Abstract:
The aim of this study was to assess improvement in motivation for tooth-brushing, the temporal order of tooth-brushing and therefore the understanding of oral hygiene, healthy food habits ANd regular dental visits in kids victimization Happy Tooth Song as an oral health promotion tool.. Methods: 3-6 year-old kids from AN urban pre-school of Navi city were selected . type A was given Happy Tooth Song and blood group acted as an effect. On day one, directions got to each teams concerning tooth-brushing, importance of oral hygiene, healthy food habits and regular dental visits. oldsters compete the song on the cell phones whereas brushing their child’s teeth. 2 teams of youngsters were assessed after15 days. Results: eighty nine kids showed feeling towards the song, half a mile might hit the books it; eighty three kids were driven to brush doubly on a daily basis. In group A, 27.70% of youngsters perpetually brushed doubly daily compared to naught in blood group. 22.22% kids brushed for >120 seconds in type A as compared to twelve.5% in blood group. a better % of youngsters properly answered the queries relating the frequency of dental visits and therefore the importance of unpolluted teeth. Conclusion: The happy tooth song had a positive impact on motivation for, the frequency and time of tooth brushing and understanding the importance of healthy food habits and dental visits in kids..
