Biography

Yi Wang is a Associate Professor in State Key Laboratory of Coal Combustion, Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), China. He received his Bachelor and Master in Thermal Power Engineering from HUST, in 2006 and 2009, and Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Curtin University, Australia, in 2012, respectively. He also experienced a postdoctoral research fellowship at Fuels and Energy Technology Institute, Curtin University, Perth, Australia, during 2012-2014. During 2015-2016, he was seconded to China science and technology exchange center, Ministry of Science and Technology, China. His research interests have been focused on thermo-chemical conversion technologies of coal/biomass and hydrocarbon wastes to renewable bio-fuels and value-added carbonaceous materials.
