Patients with celiac disease (CD) had a lot of trouble following a gluten abstinence regimen prior to the COVID-19 pandemic [1]. However, what took place amid the COVID-19 pandemic? Dermatitis and CD gluten-related diseases (GRDs) include herpetiformis (DH). A variety of intestinal and extraintestinal clinical manifestations are seen in both illnesses [2]. A group of monozygotic male twin patients with autoimmune thyroiditis and vitiligo linked to the HLA-DRB1*04-DQB1*03:02 and HLA-DRB1*03-DQB1*0201 haplotypes are the subject of our clinical, serologic, and immunogenetic investigations. Anti-melanocyte and anti-thyroid autoantibodies were observable in the patients. A critical analysis of the connection between MHC II molecules and the clinical signs of different autoimmune disorders manifested in a single patient, as the twin individuals described here have done.

Goal: An autoimmune illness affecting several systems, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) has a broad spectrum of clinical symptoms. A Latin American population of Amerindian heritage has not been shown to meet the most recent classification standards, EULAR/ACR 2019. This study’s goal is to contrast the sensitivity of the Classification criteria for EULAR/ACR 2019 and SLICC 2012 in a cohort of SLE patients with the aforementioned ancestry.

Common chronic skin disease psoriasis is primarily caused by the intricate interaction of T cells, dendritic cells, and inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-α, IL-17, IL-12, and IL-23. The significance of these important cytokines, particularly TNF-α, has been demonstrated by successful anti-cytokine antibody therapy. A tiny percentage of patients experience the development of new psoriasiform lesions while receiving anti-TNF-α medication for classical idiopathic psoriasis.

A gram-negative bacteria called Helicobacter pylori, or H. pylori, attaches itself to the stomach mucosa and causes symptoms similar to gastritis. Due to the immunological interplay of cellular and humoral responses, chronic H. pylori infection can cause autoimmune disorders in persons with a hereditary susceptibility.
