Aims & Scope
Clinics of Neurology (ISSN 2836-256X) is a peer-reviewed, open access clinical neurology journal published by Directive Publications. It disseminates rigorous original research, reviews, case reports, and case series across the full spectrum of clinical and translational neurology, with particular depth in cerebrovascular disease and stroke, epilepsy and neuroinflammation, peripheral neuropathy and neuropathic pain, neurotrauma and sports neurology, and neuro-otology and vestibular disorders.
The journal serves neurologists, neurosurgeons, clinical researchers, neurophysiologists, and trainees, and actively welcomes work from underserved and global settings, including stroke epidemiology and outcomes research from sub-Saharan Africa and other low-resource regions. Methodological emphasis spans prospective and multicentre cohort studies, case-control designs, electrodiagnosis and neurophysiology, and mechanistic and systematic reviews.
Every submission undergoes double-blind peer review. Accepted articles are published open access under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY 4.0) licence with authors retaining copyright, and each receives a permanent Crossref DOI ensuring citability, discoverability through OpenAlex and Google Scholar, and harvesting via the journal's OAI-PMH endpoint. Editorial practice follows COPE principles, with article-processing charges applied on acceptance and waivers or discounts available.
