Aims & Scope

World Journal of Clinical Cancer Research is a peer-reviewed, open-access clinical oncology journal published by Directive Publications. It disseminates original, internationally relevant scholarship across the spectrum of clinical cancer research, bridging laboratory discovery, diagnosis, treatment, and patient outcomes for a global readership of oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, nuclear-medicine specialists, pathologists, and translational cancer scientists.

The journal welcomes original research, reviews, case reports, and editorials on solid and hematologic malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma and locoregional therapies, interventional and nuclear oncology (transarterial radioembolization, Y-90 dosimetry and microspheres), prostate cancer and hormonal therapy, rare and odontogenic tumors, cancer survivorship and quality of life, early detection and screening, and environmental oncology.

We also publish translational and mechanistic studies spanning tumor biology, biomarkers, nanoparticle-based therapeutics, and cancer prevention, alongside clinical-trial reports and methodological work that informs practice and policy.

Every submission undergoes rigorous double-blind peer review. Accepted articles are published open access under a Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY 4.0) licence, with authors retaining copyright, and each receives a permanent Crossref DOI. Content is discoverable through OpenAlex and Google Scholar and exposed via an OAI-PMH endpoint, and the journal follows COPE ethical principles to safeguard the integrity of the scholarly record.
